A Must have in your tool kit if you want to experiment with macramé jewellery. 

The XL 9mm clasps have been so popular I wanted to offer a smaller alternative. These clasps are perfect to make macramé jewellery with and ideal to use up odds and ends of braided cord. 

When using 9mm or 5mm cord - pull out the centre cord by about 1-2" and then trim - pull back over the outer cords. you will now be able to compress and roll the end of the cord a little tighter with tape which is ideal to then securely affix in the claps with glue. Little Tip: Make sure you tape the ends.

Glue will need to be used to hold the cords within the jewellery fixing.

If you are using 9mm Cord - you can always pull out the core cords slight and trim. When the surrounding cord is pulled back the end will be thinner and therefore could fit up to 4 ends (if taped) into the 9mm barrel.
